Phenyl functional silane can improve thermal stability of other silanes.

It is a material to produce macromolecular organosilicon compound

Mineral Fillers: as a surface modifier for the aluminum trihydrate (ATH) used as a filler in halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) cable insulation.

Silicones: as a crosslinker in high-temperature silicone elastomers.

Catalysts: as an electron donor ("A-donor") in the polymerization of polypropylene.
